Leeds
About Leeds
Leeds, like many great Victorian cities, is undergoing a revitalising 'urban renaissance'.
The city is bringing people to live in the city centre while aspiring to create solid, sustainable business opportunities. However, Leeds is one of two top UK's 20 cities not to have seen any major investment in new retail infrastructure in the last decade. This all changes with the innovative and imaginative the Eastgate Quarter project.
Location
Located between the civic quarter, the West Yorkshire Playhouse and the existing retail quarter, Eastgate Quarters will revitalise and redefine retail in the region.
Eastgate Quarters is flanked by the inner ring road, a major arterial route to, from and through the city. It is adjacent to the established Victoria Quarter shopping arcade and Leeds bus station.
The location is also on the main access route in and out of the city to the motorway network. The M1/A1 provides easy north/south access to the Midlands, London, Newcastle and Edinburgh. The M62 motorway provides east/west access to Hull, Manchester and Liverpool.
